Traditional bean soup (fasolada)

Ingredients you will need:

350g medium beans
1 large onion sliced
1 bay leaf
2-3 carrots cleaned and cut into slices
2 stalks of celery
1 clove of garlic
1 box of tomato concache
1 tsp tomato paste
80ml olive oil
Salt
Pepper
