Albanese and Herzog will open Aus-Israel innovations summit, Yiddish report

In today’s Yiddish segment Alex Dafner reports on:-The Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Israeli President Isaac Herzog will open the third Australia-Israel Innovation Summit on the 19th to 20th October, 2022, which will focus on exciting innovations and developments and hear from a range of experts from both countries, in a variety of fields.


In today’s Yiddish segment Alex Dafner reports on:-The Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Israeli President Isaac Herzog will open the third Australia-Israel Innovation Summit on the 19th to 20th October, 2022, which will focus on exciting innovations and developments and hear from a range of experts from both countries, in a variety of fields.

The Israeli Ambassador in Australia, Amir Maimon, has criticised the Sydney Festival’s decision to suspend foreign government funding of programs, following the findings of an independent review commissioned by the festival, into the protests and boycott of the festival in 2022, because of its acceptance of a $20,000 grant from the Israeli Embassy.

Two foundation stones, one for the new Hakoah Club project and one a replica of the stone at the original Hakoah Club in Bondi, each containing the name Lowy, the latter that of Frank Lowy and the former that of his son Steven Lowy, were unveiled by the NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet, at the launch of the construction site of the new Hakoah Club at Sydney’s White City.
