CAF: In todays Yiddish segment Alex Dafner reports on:- Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull condemned the UN Security Councils resolution against Israeli settlements and reaffirmed Australias position of support for a two state solution negotiated directly between Israel and the Palestinians.PM Malcolm Turnbull and his wife Lucy accepted an invitation by the Central Synagogue in Sydney to their Chanukah celebrations and danced a Hora circle dance and praised the Jewish communitys remarkable contribution to Australias incredibly successful multicultural society.Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop distanced the government from the proposals by the former Liberal PM Tony Abbott, that Australia should cease sending aid to the Palestinian Authority, whilst it pays pensions to families of terrorists, and that it consider moving the Australian embassy from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem, in the wake of the Trump administration doing so.The Executive Council of Australian Jewry thanked the FM Julie Bishop for Australias resolute support of the two state solution policy and Israel, in light of the one-sided attacks upon it in the UN.
