SBS Weekly Yiddish report with Alex Dafner 14.2.2021 The Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne expressed the Government’s “deep concern” with the determination of the International Criminal Court, that it has the jurisdiction to investigate alleged Israeli war crimes in the Palestinian controlled territories. Australian Jewish leaders and Parliamentarians rejected the controversial Senator Pauline Hanson’s call for banning the open displays of swastikas and ISIS symbols in Australia, recalling her hateful history of rallying against multiculturalism, anti-Muslim, anti-Asian immigration and our ethnically diverse society. Reports that the Australian Jewish academic Kylie Moore-Gilbert was jailed in Iran on charges of spying because the Iranians wanted to lure her then Israeli-Australian husband to Tehran to arrest him, were rejected by sources from the Israeli intelligence community.
