- The Jewish Board of Deputies of NSW, as well as other Jewish social welfare and religious charity organisations, have so far raised more than $23k for those who have lost property and contents in the bushfires in NSW and Qld, with the appeal continuing until the 6th December 2019. - The Melbourne parents of Jewish students who were victims of anti-Semitic attacks and abuse in state schools recently, expressed their deep disappointment with the Victorian Government’s and Department of Education and Training’s review and recommendations re the issue of antisemitism in schools, as well as their exclusion from the review process, despite the Government and Department’s consultations with leading Jewish organisations in Victoria
