Australian Jews expressed their concern and wishes for a speedy recovery to the former Israeli President, Prime Minister and Nobel Laureate for Peace, Shimon Peres, who was hospitalised following a severe stroke last Tuesday. A school in Alice Springs apologised unreservedly to visiting Jewish students and their Bialik College in Melbourne, for an unfortunate, innocent mistake, when one of their students was permitted to dress-up as Adolf Hitler, as part of the dress-up for the Book Week celebrations at the school.
