Henry Roth, about his mother’s book, “The Right Time to speak”

Henry Roth with Nitza Lowenstein

Our guest is Henry Roth, who talks about his mother’s book, “The Right Time to speak”. It took Henry’s mum, Aneta Weinreich more than 70 years before she had the courage to speak and tell her incredible survivor story as a child how her mother managed to smuggle six children, three her own out of the Ghetto in Krakow and wandered around Europe on false papers, pretending to be Christians. The fascinating story of the family continues in Israel and in Australia in the 1950’s and 60’s. Find out how refugees, with absolutely nothing, managed to rebuild their lives with the help of their own courage and wisdom....
