SBS Yiddish report with Alex Dafner Some Jewish leaders in Australia expressed unease over the Labor Parties moving of its established resolution on the recognition of a Palestinian State up to their policies platform, although Labor parliamentarians insisted that the party’s bipartisan stance on the issue has not changed and that the ALP remains a strong supporter and friend of Israel. Jewish community representatives met with Victorian Government and Victoria Police reps to discuss their role in a taskforce designed to combat the growth of antisemitism and racism in the State.
