Michael Mizrachi, former Director of Shalom Institute who went on Aliya to Israel, has been recording interviews with leading Israeli authors in celebration of Israel's 70th birthday and they will be screened as part of Sydney Jewish Writers Festival. The interviews are with Meir Shalev, Dorit Rabinyan, Gil Hovav and Ron Ben Yishai. We spoke to Michael about his encounter with the Israeli Authors and his conversations with them. Festival events are on Tuesday 21, Thursday 23 and a full day of sessions on Sunday 26 August at Waverley Library, Sydney.
