We speak to astrophysics professor Nir Shaviv of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem about the James Webb Space Telescope as well as about the various factors responsible for climate change.

Professor Nir Shaviv explains the importance of the James Webb  space telescope, which will enable scientist to explore cosmic radiation from the earliest stages of the universe.

Professor Nir Shaviv is known for his solar and cosmic-ray hypothesis of climate change which disagrees with the scientific consensus on human-caused climate change. In 2002, Shaviv hypothesised that passages through the Milky Way's spiral arms appear to have been the cause behind the major ice-ages over the past billion years.
