When we reflect on 2017, it was a big anniversary year for Israel. It has been 50 years since the Six Day War, 100 years since the Balfour Declaration, 70 years since the United Nations voted in favor of partitioning Palestine to create two states, and an official Jewish Homeland. 100 years since the ANZACs forces with the Australian light horse Brigade liberated Beersheba from the Ottomans and ultimately laying the ground work for the future establishment of Israel.
