Australia managed to stay alive in the T20 World Cup, thanks to Usman Khwaja and Adam Zampa, the two young stars who played leading roles in Australia’s 3 wicket win over Bangladesh on Monday night. Had it not been for these two young inclusions in the team, Australia’s future in the tournament was bleak.
Adam Zampa shone out from his fellow bowlers with an impressive haul of 3 wickets for 23 runs, his best so far in international career, which Usman Khwaja backed it with a stunning 58 runs in 45 balls.
While those who had starred in Australian World Cup victory last year failed, these youngsters rose to the occasion and ensured Australia remained relevant in the tournament.

Here are some interesting facts about these young new stars of the Australian Cricket Team

1. Usman Khwaja – Khwaja is a qualified pilot.

2. Adam Zampa – Born in Shellharbour, on the south coast of NSW, Zampa made his state debut in 2012 but in 2013, moved to South Australia.

5. Usman Khwaja - His international career stalled slightly following his much-hyped debut so Khawaja decided to move from NSW to Queensland at the start of the 2012-13 season. He regained his form and made a comeback to the Australian team in 2015.
