48-year-old woman in NSW arrived at a Harvey Norman store in Lake Haven and threatened the staff with a knife demanding a refund for an incomplete carpet laying job.

Shocking footage showed by 7 News shows how the furious lady held a knife in her hand while she continuously demanding a refund of $15000.

The store manager is seen defending himself with a chair while trying to calm her down.

The footage shows the woman shouting, “How much is that worth?” How much is it worth! How much!!!!”

The shocked staff members watched on in horror as manager Matt Cooper tried to calm her down.

The store manager told 7 News he was shocked by what unfolded.

“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” he said.

The woman was upset about unfinished carpet laying work at her home, which was put on hold after the workman’s tools had reportedly been stolen on the job.

Police arrested the woman, 48, after she received treatment but was released without charge.

The matter is now under investigation.
