A senior ANZ executive has denied claims that he put his arm around Pankaj Oswal's neck or told the Indian businessman to "bloody well sign or we will destroy you".

Then ANZ chief risk officer Chris Page will give evidence that no verbal altercation or physical contact of the kind alleged occurred, the bank's barrister Matthew Connock QC said on Wednesday.

The Victorian Supreme Court heard the bank also denies pressuring Radhika Oswal into signing a guarantee over hundreds of millions of dollars in debts to get her husband out of trouble after he admitted forging security documents.

The Victorian Supreme Court has heard the ANZ told Mrs Oswal her husband Pankaj had admitted falsifying security documents and could go to jail for fraud if she did not cover almost $US1 billion in debts.

ANZ and receivers' barrister Matthew Connock QC on Wednesday said the evidence will show a deal where Mrs Oswal guaranteed $US568 million in debts was validly done, with no overarching agreement of the kind alleged by the Oswals.
