According to police, the crash happened on Mulgoa Road about 5.40am (Tuesday 27 November 2018), when two trucks and a van collided. Parth, who was driving the van, died at the scene.

One of the men involved in the crash was taken to Liverpool Hospital suffering multiple injuries.

Mr Abhishek Patel of Sydney, who knows Parth’s family from Ahmedabad in Gujarat, told SBS Hindi that Parth had arrived in Australia in April this year for studies.
“He was working as a delivery boy. On Tuesday, he was supposed to return from his last delivery. His manager got worried when Parth did not return for two hours. He checked the location of the van and found that it was at the same spot for over two hours. Then one of Parth’s friend went to check and found out that he was involved in the accident,” said Mr Patel, who is liaising with the authorities to repatriate Parth’s body to India.

Parth’s family has been informed. Abhishek Patel and his friends have raised money to help the grieving family.
