Body of Indian techie, who died in Sydney, reaches home

The body of an Indian national, who died in Sydney last month, has reached his home in Suryapet.

Konam Adhinarayana Reddy's body was flown to India after all the formalities. The body reached RGI airport on Saturday and was taken to his native Imjavarigudem village of Nereducherla Mandal, Telangana Today reported.

Reddy's body was found in his apartment in Sydney on the Christmas Day. Later it was found that Reddy died of brain stroke.

Srini Pillalamarri of Telugu Association Sydney, who informed Infosys of their employee's death, said the company took over everything.

"I talked to their HR officials and they took over immediately. They took care of everything," said Pillalmarri.

33-year-old was an employee of Infosys. He was shifted to Australia by his company six months ago. He was living in a shared apartment.

He had spoken to his wife on the day before around 4 p and complained of illness. The wife called up her husband after some time to inquire about his health, but the calls went unanswered. After trying many times, the wife called a relative in Melbourne and requested them to check on her husband. The relatives from Melbourne contacted a relative in Sydney who then reached Reddy’s apartment and found him dead.

The Son of a farmer from Injamvarigudem village in Nereducherla of Suryapet, Reddy is survived by three-year-old twin daughters and wife.
