Ms Khan had been admitted to hospital after she complained of breathing problems on June 17, 2020, the Indian media reported.

In a career spanning more than four decades, Ms Khan choreographed more than 2000 songs and won several awards.
Ms Khan was a three-time National Award winner in India who choreographed some of the most memorable Bollywood numbers, including Dola Re Dola from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas, Ek Do Teen from Madhuri Dixit-starrer Tezaab and Ye Ishq Haaye from Jab We Met in 2007.
One of her latest choreography featured veteran Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit in the song, Tabaah Ho Gaye, for the film, Kalank.
Saroj Khan is survived by her husband B. Sohanlal, son Hamid Khan and daughters Hina Khan and Sukyna Khan.
