UPDATE: 4pm: Police Operations have now concluded at the Sydney Opera House.
1pm: NSW Police has evacuated the area surrounding Sydney's iconic Opera House.
News trickled in on Thursday morning that the NSW Police was carrying out an operation at Sydney's Opera House and at the Manly Wharf.
According to several tweets on Twitter, following this operation, the shows at the Opera House have been cancelled.
Police also confirmed that some ferry services were cancelled near Opera House to keep people away.
