'Lonely Planet', world's most popular travel website has ranked Australia's capital city, Canberra on its top ten list to visit in 2018.
'Lonely Planet' released a list of world's top 10 cities to visit in 2018 where Canberra is ranked at number three behind Seville of Spain and Detroit (USA).
Germany's Hamburg is at number 4 followed by Kaohsiung (Taiwan), Antwerp (Belgium), Matera (Italy), San Juan (Puerto Rico), Guanajuato (Mexico) and Oslo (Norway).
There is no Indian city on the list.
Lonely Planet spokesperson Chris Zeiher told Fairfax Canberra has been hiding in plain sight.

Mr. Zeiher said, "Rich with history, culture and entertainment, it offers something for every kind of traveller."
'Lonely Planet' has also released a list of top 10 countries which is topped by Chile. New Zealand features in this list at number five but neither Australia nor India are there on the list.
