On Thursday when significant disruptions on the state’s rail network begin, commuters across NSW have been warned to rethink or avoid travel on, mentioned on NSW transport website.
NSW rail workers will decide by midday Wednesday if they will go ahead with a planned industrial action that would send the state's rail network into chaos.
At the train stations, Rail officials are distributing pamphlets about the possible disruption.

Members of the Rail, Tram, and the Bus Union are working out whether the latest offer proposed by Sydney Trains management is good enough to cancel a 24-hour strike on Monday over pay and conditions.
On Thursday, the first round of industrial action - an indefinite ban on overtime - is planned to start.
As per SBS report, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian told ABC radio on Wednesday,"We are asking people just to look up the timetables to make sure they're not effected or perhaps catch a different service,"

Priyanka Baidya, a nurse who commutes every day with Illawarra to eastern suburb line, feels helpless. She told SBS Hindi that as a Nurse, she has to follow strict work routine which might get affected and her co-workers might be unhappy. She also said, " well comparatively Sydney train fare is a lot expensive than other cities. it's ridiculous, but service is never as high as they charge.."
Another commuter Satish Chaudhry, an architect who lives in south-western Sydney suburb Holsworthy and takes the train to go to the city. " Tommorrow I have a meeting, and I cannot make it, we are not sure what will happen, nothing has come out yet even if you go to the trip viewer it shows the message about disruption. So have no choice except waiting." He says he is working on Plan B for coming days to keep his work. He is planning to arrange a meeting over conference call between the multiple parties. He needs to meet his client's face - to -face so that He can address the need better.
Rajiv Chaturvedi who takes the train from Wollongong to Sydney said,"I would not have bothered much and taken a day off but otherwise there would be buses or can drive, but it will be very chaotic on the road." He also added that his work allows him to work from a different branch so he will be working locally tomorrow as well as on Monday.
Avani Lal takes morning 7.30 train from Dapto to Parramatta; she works with an HR firm, she was worried about the disruption as she does not have any more leaves left and she cannot work from home. She says the worst part of the story is she does not drive.
