Crocodile drags a man out of tent in Australia

 A 19-year-old man was attacked by a crocodile while on a camping trip in the Northern Territory’s Daly region.

He was attacked while he was asleep inside a tent, which was just 15 meters away from the water.

Crocodile bit the man on his foot, dragged him from his tent around 4.30 am on Monday morning.

The young man was able to free himself from the crocodile’s grip but had to be admitted to hospital for treatment.

ABC News reported that the man’s family drove him 2.5 hours to Katherine where he is being treated.

The NT health department spokesperson said, he was “shaken”.

He had non-life threatening puncture wounds to his lower right leg, and was on an antibiotics drip due to the bacteria in the mouths of crocodiles.
