Desi versions of Ed Sheeran’s "Shape of You" will blow your mind

"Shape of You" is a song by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.

This song was released as a digital download in January 2017 and since then has peaked at number-one on the singles charts of 30 different countries.

Sheeran's video on YouTube has 585,678,296 views.

Now, various Indian artists have come up with their versions of Sheeran’s “Shape of You.”

Singers from IndianRaga have given a brilliant Carnatic (South Indian classical) flavour to this pop song.

IndianRaga, made up of Aditya Rao, Vinod Krishnan and Mahesh Raghvan, is a music education startup founded at MIT.

Their version has been watched 2.4 million times on social media.

With 357,729 views on YouTube another trending version is of LIVE BANNED.

This is a Bangalore based parody rock band known for producing whacky, slapstick, and Indian-styled version of popular international tracks.

Akriti Kakar smashes Sheeran’s “Shape of You” with her beautiful Bollywood-style rendition.
