Hundreds of mourners gathered for the funeral service of murdered Melbourne toddler Sanaya Sahib.
A public memorial service was held at the Bunurong Memorial Park which was followed by a family-only, traditional Islamic burial.
The woman who found the toddler in creek led the memorial service.
Brother-in-law Jameel Ahmed said ''Sanaya bought so much joy to our family. Sameer loves his little princess, will love and miss her every day of his life."
Little Sanaya, 14 months, was found murdered in the Darebin Creek on Sunday, less than 24 hours after her mother, Sofina Nikat, told police she had been snatched from her pram in Olympic Park in Heidelberg West.
Nikat, of Mitcham, was charged with her daughter's murder on Tuesday and remains in custody.
Family from interstate and New Zealand, where Sanaya's father was born, flew down to Melbourne for the funeral.
On Friday, about 200 people including Sanaya's family members gathered at Olympic Park for a vigil in memory of Sanaya.
Victorian Government has ordered a probe in to Sanaya’s death.
