The incident happened on February 11th when a Transavia Airlines Flight HV6902 was forced to land in Vienna when two passengers raised a stink about their co-passengers allegedly continuous farting.

Fox News reported when the unnamed alleged perpetrators did not stop, his seatmates complained to airline crew. However, when the crew allegedly did nothing, the fight broke out.

The NL Times reports that the captain of the plane issued a warning to the complaints, accusing them of aggressive and threatening behaviour.

The pilots made a stop at Vienna after the fight broke out.
Four passengers were removed from the plane according to Dutch-language newspaper De Telegraaf. The alleged perpetrator was not among them. The pilots removed the complainants and two women sitting in the same row.

The women are suing the Dutch airline Transavia, according to De Telegraaf.

“We had nothing to do with the whole disturbance. We distance ourselves from that. Do they sometimes think that all Moroccans cause problems? That’s why we do not let it sit,” one of the women said.

"We had no idea who these boys were, we just had the bad luck to be in the same row, and we didn’t do anything,” one of the women was quoted saying by the Dutch language newspaper.

All four passengers have been banned from flying Transavia Airlines in the future.

“Our crew must ensure a safe flight. If passengers pose a risk, they immediately intervene. Our people are trained for that. They know very well where the boundaries are. Transavia, therefore, stands squarely behind the cabin crew and the pilots,” the airline said in a statement to De Telegraaf.
