45 Indians and people of Indian origin have made it to the Forbes 30 Under 30 annual list this year. According to Forbes they screened more than 15000 nominations before selecting the best of the best in 20 different catogories. Finally 30 people were selcted in each of these 20 catogories.
Indian News Agency PTI reports that this list includes Vice President of Citigroup Nila Das (27),the founder and CEO of OYO Room Ritesh Agarwal (22), co-founders of Sprig Gagan Biyani and Neeraj Berry (28) and one of the youngest people to be employed by Alphabet’s Google X Karishma Shah (25)
Indian-Origin Writer and Comedian Canadian Lily Singh (27), Investment analyst at Viking Global Investors Divya Nettimi (29), Underwater drones developer Sampriti Bhattacharyya (28), CEO of Cemtrex Saagar Govil (29) and founding director of Sanitation and Health Rights in India Anoop Jain (28) were also among those who made the cut.
