Prime Minister Scott Morrison has congratulated his Indian counterpart, the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his landslide victory.
PM Morrison on Thursday congratulated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his ‘historic re-election’, saying ‘our India Economic Strategy’ will take out ties to a new level’.
The Indian Prime Minister reciprocated his ‘warm greetings’ and said he looks forward to ‘working closely with you’.

US President Donald Trump too congratulated PM Modi on his ‘BIG’ election victory.
Russian President Vladimir Putin sent his congratulatory telegram saying ‘I am convinced that, as the Prime Minister of India, you will further strengthen the centuries-old friendship between our peoples.’
Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to Indian Prime Minister on winning the Lok Sabha elections.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan too congratulated Modi and said he looked ‘forward to working with him for peace, progress and prosperity in South Asia’.
Leaders of Tanzania, Maldives, Nepal, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Afghanistan, Italy, Sri Lanka, Bhutan too sent their congratulatory wishes to the re-elected Prime Minister.
