The IABCA Stars 2017 event was attended by nearly 200 guests on Friday 25 August at Tasman Light Gallery, Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney.
IABCA finalists came from across the country to celebrate the Australia India relationship.

Speakers of the evening included Senator the Hon Concetta Fierravanti-Wells, Minister for International Development and the Pacific, Hon Gladys Berejiklian MP Premier of New South Wales, Consul General of India in Sydney, Shri B. Vanlalvawna, Kevin Sumption, CEO, Australian National Maritime Museum and Sunil Lal, Chairman, Barker Henley.
SBS Hindi’s Executive Producer Kumud Merani was Master of Ceremonies for the evening.
IABCA celebrates the Australia India relationship by honouring migrant entrepreneurship and community leadership. These annual awards acknowledge migrants who have achieved and contributed greatly to the multicultural nation. IABCA raises awareness of Indians in Australia and Australians in India, in a way that encourages further growth in relations between the two countries.
The India Australia Business & Community Awards (IABCA) 2017 annual awards gala will be hosted by Annastacia Palaszczuk MP, Premier of Queensland and will take place on Friday 13th October at Queensland's Brisbane City Hall.
