Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team won the T20 international series against Sri Lanka at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai by beating the opponents by five wickets on Sunday.
Sri Lankan bowlers did not succeed in defending 135 runs. They did take five Indian wickets but MS Dhoni and Dinesh Karthik helped India cross the finish line, with the former hitting the winning shot on the second ball of the final over.
The victory in third T20 also helped Team India completely sweep the series after the Lankan side lost the first two matches in Cuttack and Indore.
After the win on Sunday, which was also the Christmas eve, the Indian players celebrated the series win by donning Santa caps.
Former skipper MS Dhoni donned the Santa cap and this sent Twitter in complete meltdown.
