India tops ICC ODI and Test rankings

With beating Australia by 5 wickets in the third ODI, India rises to top spot in ICC ranking.

Indian cricket team has become number one team in two formats namley One day and Tests.

When India-Australian series strarted, India were at number two in ODI rankings, two points behind South Africa. With third consective victory against Australia, Indian team left SA behind.

SA, though, can regain top spot if they beat Bangladesh in the upcoming series.

In the third ODI, Australia scored 293 runs batting first. The partnership betweeon Aaron Finch (124) and Steve Smith (63) was the backbone of this arguably good score. India lost it's openers after a good start and then Aussies managed important wicket of Indian skipper Virat Kohli too but the base was ready and Hardik Pandya (78) and MK Pandey (36) made it sure that Indian achieves the target.
