"Feeling lucky for my staff. It (the knife) was up to his neck," Jack Patel, the owner, told Seven News.
Tarragindi is a suburb on the southern side of Brisbane, Queensland.
The incident occurred at the wee hours on Monday when the staff was opening the store. At around 5 am a car arrived and two armed thugs jumped out of it, followed by a third.
They entered the shop shouting and Jay, the staff was ordered to the ground.
"The black jacket one told me just get up and go inside, to get money out," Jay told Seven News. The robbers stole the till and $200 cash before manhandling Jay with a silver knife in one's hand.
The store-chain later decided to change the trading hours. A Facebook post said, "Hi All we are changing our trading hours due to safety reason of our staff. Please check it out below video of arm robbery at our store," sharing the video.
