Thirty-two-year-old Sara had reportedly been followed, assaulted and bitten by a woman after she boarded a bus on Argyle Street at Parramatta. The incident occurred on Thursday 21 March when Sara was travelling with her 18-month-old daughter.

Sara alleges the woman began verbally abusing her on the bus, according to an interview with the Nine Network.

“When both women exited the bus on Sherwood Road at Merrylands, the unknown woman assaulted the 32-year-old and tore her chain from her neck before biting her ear,” according to police.
Police and emergency services arrived after the woman had fled the scene.

“I was just very scared, I was yelling ‘anyone help me out, anyone help me out’, and no one was coming to help me out,” Sara told the Nine Network.

Police released an image asking members of the community who have information on the incident to come forward.
Later the woman was tracked down in hospital. Officers say they will speak to her as police intend to charge her, according to the police.
