An Indian man’s investment property in Adelaide was gutted in what police believe to be an arson attack.
South Australia Police are investigating the suspicious building fire which broke out on Saturday evening around 6.50pm at Rosewater in Adelaide.
“Police and fire crews were called to a building on Grand Junction Road following reports of a fire.
“The building was fully engulfed in flames when emergency services arrived but was quickly contained by MFS.
“Thankfully no one was inside at the time and there were no reported injuries.
“Fire Cause Investigators attended and examined the scene and it is now believed the fire was deliberately lit,” the SA Police said in a statement.
The property which was used to rent it out to tenants was vacant at the time of the fire.
The owner of the property Suresh Kumar was left devastated.
Police have urged eyewitnesses to come forward with information.
