Indian Pavillion debuts at Sydney Royal Easter Show

You may not know but this year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show prominently features an Indian pavillion. India has been invited as a guest nation to participate in what is Sydney’s most popular Easter show.

The Indian Pavillion at Easter Show showcases some of India’s most famous and colourful textiles, magnificent jewels and beautiful handicrafts.

More than 80 exhibitiors from India have stalls in the Pavillion which displays beautiful cotton, silk and cashmere accessories, silver and semi-precious jewellery, exotic carpets, artwork, bed linen, crafted leather goods and unique tableware.

And that’s not all. The Indian pavilion is also serving contemporary cuisine from India like samosas, curries, pakoras and other varieties.

Considered to be the largest annual show in the southern hemisphere, with over 800,000 footfalls and visitors from more than 60 international destinations, the show lasts for two weeks.
