Indian spiritual leader, Sadhguru, who is visiting Australia, has been knocked down by ‘Australian hay fever’.
In a video posted on his official Instagram handle, the famous guru followed by millions on social media shared he is unwell and down with hay fever.
“Anyone who does Saadhna (disciplined practice, especially in religion) intensely will notice over a period of time that your identification with the body will come down quite dramatically. Here I am, in Melbourne, down with Australian hay fever. Believe me, the damn thing can really knock you down,” Sadhguru shares in the video.
Hay fever is an allergic reaction to environmental allergens such as pollen, dust which causes itchy, watery eyes, sneezing and stuffy nose and sometimes causes wheezing, coughing and headaches.
Sadhguru is visiting Australia after seven years and held interactive events in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

His famous workshop ‘Inner Engineering’ was conducted in Melbourne over the weekend which was attended by thousands.
Over 2100 people attended the Brisbane event where the spiritual guru was seen in conversation with Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden.
Sadhguru, currently in Melbourne, said despite the ill health he has not missed any event.
“I have not missed any event. I just finished a five-hour session with five thousand people. All I have missed is a golf game but rest of it, I am keeping it up,” he quips.
“.. Australian hay fever, it really digs in deep but I am okay,” he says.
