Indian techie found dead in Sydney on Christmas Day

An Indian software engineer, who was in Australia on an official assignment, was found dead in his apartment in Sydney.

33-year-old K Adinarayana Reddy was an employee of Indian software company Infosys. He was shifted to Australia by his company six months ago, according to the New Indian Express.

A resident of Miryalguda town in Nalgonda district of Telangana, Reddy was living in a shared apartment.

He had spoken to his wife on Sunday around 4 p.m., The Hindu reported. He had complained of illness. The wife called up her husband after some time to inquire about his health, but the calls went unanswered. After trying many times, the wife called a relative in Melbourne and requested them to check on her husband. The relatives from Melbourne contacted a relative in Sydney who then reached Reddy’s apartment and found him dead.

The wife told The Hindu that her husband “spoke normally, and was fine. He only complained of dehydration two days ago.

The Son of a farmer from Injamvarigudem village in Nereducherla of Suryapet, Reddy is survived by three-year-old twin daughters and wife. The family is seeking the help of officials in bringing his body back.
