An Indian tourist who wishes to travel to Australia and New Zealand has been mocked online after he asked how to drive from Sydney to New Zealand.
An Indian tourist, name withheld, wrote on a Trip Advisor forum, he was from India and they wanted to drive from Sydney to Auckland to Queenstown.
“Is it possible that I hire a car in Sydney and drive throughout till Queenstown and drop the car there? I am recently told that driving across two countries requires separate car rental agreement,” he wrote on the forum on Thursday.
He also inquired about visas for the two countries.
“Do I have to apply for separate visas for both the countries or is there any joint visa for Australia and New Zealand?” he asked.
His query was met with a lot of ridicule on the forum.

'Hi, You'll need one of these and a lot of luck. Cheers,' one user wrote alone with a link to a water car.
'Please look at a world map,' another person commented.
Despite the ridicule, the tourist wrote once again.

'Thanks for the information... I want to go to Sydney first and then visit New Zealand. Sydney-Auckland airfare is coming around 20k in December & we are 4 pax (sic) so 80k in total. Is flying cheaper or car will be cheaper?'
