Anand Singh, a Domino's pizza shop worker was shot at the Wentworthville takeaway joint by some robbers.

Shooters demanded cash before shooting at 21-year-old Singh and fled on foot.

Shot in the chest and hand, Anand Singh was in critical condition but instead of waiting for the ambulance, stumbled down to the nearby police station with the help of another co-worker. This short journey was captured on CCTV. His friend can be seen calling for help.
Police have praised this young man for his endeavour. Granville Police Inspector Matthew Hyde told media, “It’s quite amazing in fact that he was able to walk and seek assistance.”

“He’s an extremely brave young person but from a policing perspective we would encourage people if they are confronted by an armed offender to comply with their demands.”
