India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in hospital following kidney failure

She tweeted saying she was undergoing tests for a kidney transplant.

India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday revealed that she has been on dialysis after suffering from a kidney failure.

She also said she was undergoing tests for a possible kidney transplant.

Swaraj, who has been admitted to New Delhi’s leading hospital AIIMS on November 7, shared the news on Twitter.

She took to Twitter and informed people that she was admitted to AIIMS hospital because of kidney failure.

“I am in AIIMS because of kidney failure. Presently, I am on dialysis. I am undergoing tests for a Kidney transplant. Lord Krishna will bless,” Swaraj tweeted.
In April, Swaraj was admitted to AIIMS after she complained of chest congestion. She was discharged after being treated for fever and pneumonia symptoms.
