Australian Federal Police are looking for the person that left the large sum of money behind at a property in NSW.
Officers came across the suitcase while they were at a warehouse in Wetherill Park investigating a suspected drug importation.
This suitcase contains $1.6 million cash.
“We’ve kicked off a court process to have it listed as unclaimed cash – but if you reckon this cash is yours, we’d be very keen to speak with you* Australian Federal Police wrote on social media on Monday.
(*And by speak with you, we definitely mean to ask where you got a suitcase full of cash from. We have a sneaking suspicion this isn’t your average pay packet)” they joked.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
