Former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar predicted on NDTV that Virat Kohli would go down as one of India’s greatest cricket captains. Gavaskar said that Kohli has brought flair to his team and cultivated a culture in the team that was rooted in physical fitness and ruthlessness.
"I think you take all aspects into consideration and you know that this is a really, really special team, captained by a very special player," said the little master.
Indian team has won 9 matches in a row. This was the record MS Dhoni achieved in 2008-09 and Kohli has already equaled Dhoni.
India has played 38 ODIs under Kohli’s captaincy, winning 30 of them.
