Israeli business daily 'The Marker' has carried a feature story in its Hebrew edition. The title of this story is "Wake up: the most important PM of the world is coming".
Indian prime minister Mr Modi is visiting Israel next month. This is the first official visit of an Indian prime minister to Israel.
Israeli media has given a lot of attention to Modi's forthcoming visit. Jerusalem Post has created a separate link, "Modi's Visit". India related stories have been placed under this link.

"Unlike most world leaders, however, Modi, who governs the world's largest democracy and second largest nation, apparently is refusing to visit Ramallah during his Israel trip, and will not schedule meetings with Palestinian Authority+ (PA) chief Mahmoud Abbas or other PA leaders", Arutz Sheva said in a report.

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in his cabinet meeting last Sunday, "Next week, the Indian Prime Minister, my friend, Narendra Modi will arrive in Israel. This is a historic visit to Israel. In the 70 years of the country's existence, no Indian Prime Minister has ever visited and this is further expression of the state of Israel's military, economic and diplomatic strength." Netanyahu added that this is a very significant step in strengthening relations between the two countries.

This is the 25th year of establishment of diplomatic ties between India and Israel. Prime Minister Modi will arrive on July 4th. He will have dinner with his Israeli counterpart on the same day. On July 5th, Modi will address around 4,000 people of Indian-origin in Tel Aviv.
