Journey of an International student to Police Officer in Australia

Sachin Sharma arrived in Australia as an International student in early 2000s. He is currently in charge Superintendent of the Northern Territory Police Recruitment Division. Now he is encouraging other migrants to join the police force. His aim is to increase diversity within the police force.

Sachin Sharma wants more migrants to join the police force in Australia. Why? He says, “Australia is a multicultural country. And in services like police, the representation of every culture is very important to serve people better.”
