Amardeep Singh’s latest book is ‘THE QUEST CONTINUES: LOST HERITAGE The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan’. It is a sequel to his first book LOST HERITAGE The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan.
Amardeep calls himself an accidental author. He is an engineer and a management graduate holding an MBA from the University of Chicago. After spending 25 years in jet-setting corporate roles, Amardeep decided to let his quest for his lost legacy take over. He says, “During a personal visit to Pakistan in 2014, in a journey that took me across 36 cities and villages, I felt it was important for posterity to document my explorations. That is how my first book ‘LOST HERITAGE The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan’ happened.”
In Jan 2017, he undertook another journey, this time travelling extensively to 90 cities and villages across Sindh, Balochistan, Pakistan Administered Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab. The continuing thread of explorations again motivated him to document them in the sequel entitled, ‘THE QUEST CONTINUES: LOST HERITAGE The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan’.
