The note was left by the mother of Shruti Naik, a Canada-based musician.

Her mother had pinned this note on her fridge before leaving for India from Vancouver, British Columbia.

The note had the details of the things Naik's mother had organised in her fridge.

For instance, she had penned down everything that was in the door, including sabzi masala, milk and ginger.

Ms Naik posted a picture of the note on Twitter and received overwhelming response.

"Mom returned to India today, and she left this on my fridge," tweeted Naik.

The gesture touched many Twitter users, and others shared their own experiences with their mothers.

"This is the most desi mom thing I ever saw," tweeted one of the users.

"This one fridge note has decimated all the senti Mothers Day ads I've seen since I woke up. Moms, quite literally, rule," another Twitter user said.
