NZ Police's Facebook post about Indian cricket team goes viral

New Zealand police have posted a comment on recent cricket team’s humiliating loss against touring Indian cricket team. This post has gone viral.

New Zealand’s Eastern District police posted a comment on it’s Facebook page that has gone viral. Making fun of the Kiwi team’s loss against Virat Kohli led Indian team in first two one-days, the post warns ‘New Zealanders about the exploits of a group touring the country at the moment.’

“Police would like to issue a warning to members of the public about the exploits of a group touring the country at the moment. Witnesses report seeing this group badly assault an innocent looking bunch of New Zealanders in both Napier and Mt Maunganui in the last week. Extra care should be taken if you are carrying anything that looks like a cricket bat or ball,” the post reads with a winking smiley at the end.

The post has been shared widely, and people have been commenting on it.

India has defeated the host team in two consecutive ODIs. In the first match, India beat New Zealand by 8-wickets (DLS) in Napier.

Second one day, played in Mt Maunganui brought the similar results for the host team as India posted 324 runs on the scorecard and then bowled NZ out at 234 runs.

Virat Kohli team is in New Zealand to play 5 ODIs after beating Australia in ODI and Test series.
