If you mention living in a village, for a change one may approve it but for a permanent abode, there will be very few takers. The reason being lack of facilities and poor infrastructure.

But just imagine a village which has free wi-fi, 23 CCTV, 90 Solar Lights, 23 Public Address System, dustbin for every three house, a total of 40 dustbins in one village, a common service center and a government school which in its standard gives run for money to a convent school.

It may appear as a wish list but such village exists in Uttar Pradesh's Sidharthnagar district. Situated on Nepal border, the village presents a soothing look with each house painted in pink color.

With such development, the village has attained being the first village in the region which has Geographical Information. Details about each over 1100 families are present on the website. Details of every agriculture field are also there. Not only this the village also has a stitching training center, a computer center for the villagers.

Another striking feature is the nameplate in front of every house carries the name of the daughter. It is a sign to ensure that girl child is the identity of every household.

All this has happened due to the young 38-year-old village pradhan Dileep Tripathi who took an extra step to modernize his village. Now the village has attracted everyone's attention from chief minister to others.

The efforts are a witness that it all depends on one's capabilities to transform the surroundings.
