Padmaavat

History, Pride, Glory, Sacrifice and Folklore

Star cast – Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor

Director – Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Ratings – 4/5
Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji is stunning. His mannerism, body language and the way he delivers dialogues makes him a monster from the word go. As of now, he is India’s answer to the Joker Heath Ledger.

Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh carries the Rajput turban and their pride with full glory.

Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmaavat is outstanding. The way she depicts Rani will make her part of the history too.

All thanks to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for giving a masterpiece called Padmaavat. The detailing in each scene makes this movie a treat to watch. Each frame, music, action sequence is handpicked. Though it’s a 3-hour movie and 1-2 songs could have been edited but who cares when you have such marvellous actors performing. The climax scene will leave you with moist eyes.
