Westfield Centre Management has confirmed to The Daily Telegraph, seven restaurants in the restaurant precinct have been evacuated in addition to the Priceline and Daiso stores.
Earlier:
A Police operation is underway in Sydney's Parramatta, The Sydney Morning Herald reports.
Access to parts of Westfield and train station has been blocked by the police.
T1 Sydney Trains tweeted that trains have been suspended between Harris Park and Westmead due to this operation. Passengers have been advised to allow extra time due to this delay.
Buses too have been blocked at Parramatta Interchange.
Some commuters took to Twitter to share what is happening on ground.
