Its been two weeks since 22-year-old Melbourne resident Tej Chitnis has gone missing. Even as Police continues to appeal for public assistance to help locate Tej, they have now released an image of his car, last sighted on April 27th around 11.30am.

This is the second important clue they have found in this case.
Tej went missing on 27th April morning and has since been seen travelling east on the Maroondah Highway, Healesville near the intersection of Green Street on Wednesday 27 April about 11.34am.

Police are appealing to any drivers who were in the area at the time to check for dash camera footage that may have captured his vehicle.

Here's the image of Tej’s car which was taken in Healesville at the time he was last sighted.

Tej was last seen leaving his Burwood East address in his silver Golf on Wednesday 27 April about 10am.

He usually drives to the Blackburn Railway station, parks his car in a nearby street and catches public transport to University.

Tej failed to return home at 4:00pm. His 2005 VW Golf has also not been located.

Police have concerns for Tej as this behaviour is out of character.

His family and friends too have carried out several search operations in Yarra Valley especially in the Healesville area where his car and mobile signal data was last registered.

Police have released an image of Tej and his car in the hope’s that someone may recognise him or have information about current his whereabouts.

Tej is described as having a medium build, dark hair and brown eyes.
