A Court in Jodhpur today gave its judgement on the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case against noted Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

Salman Khan along with Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam and Tabu had been accused of killing two Blackbucks while they were shooting for the movie Hum Saath Saath Hain in October 1998. Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam and Tabu have been acquitted.

Blackbuks are an endangered species. The two Blackbuks were allegedly killed in Kankani village in Rajasthan near Jodhpur.  The Blackbuck is revered by the Bishnoi community in Rajasthan.
